Remove silence in four steps
- Open Pausiq and choose your MP3, WAV or M4A file.
- Pausiq shows the waveform and marks the silent parts.
- Press Remove pauses. Use Cut strength to keep more or less of each pause.
- Listen, adjust if needed, and export as WAV, MP3 or M4A.

Does Pausiq remove background noise?
No. Pausiq finds and removes pauses and silent gaps, so the speech flows without dead air. It does not change the sound itself, so hum, wind or hiss stay as they are. Clean noise in your recording app or microphone settings first if you need to.
